Flat-Fee Arrangement Benefits both Attorney and Client

A flat-fee arrangement benefits you in two principal ways. First, payments for legal services become predictable and manageable. You are not faced with an estimate of time and an hourly rate, rather, you will pay a fixed fee. Second, by linking a portion of the fee with a project stage, your full payment is spread over the entire course of the project, allowing you to better manage cash flow.

The flat-fee arrangement also lowers the cost of doing business. Once a specific scope of work with project stages are determined, you will make periodic payments at project milestones. This model, therefore, establishes a pre-payment mechanism that lowers the cost of doing business and allows more efficient legal services. This efficiency ultimately translates to cost-savings to you.
